( see details on page 209) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snBomcevolg&t=40s )
There are six types of brochure formats. They are Gate Fold, Tri-Fold, Bi-Fold, Leaflet/ Flyer, Folders and inserts and ‘Z’ fold brochure.
To make an effective brochure, we should be sure about our purpose, which can be advertising a product or the services of our company, or promoting an event. We should consider what information the brochure should contain and what our vision, mission and goals of our organisation are. We must be aware of the attractive design of the brochure. Time, budget, expertise and the possibility of getting reviews or readers’ feedback are to be considered well.
We must be sure of using a certain format of a brochure and the logo, images, and other introductory materials. Develop a checklist of all the tasks so we can follow them step-by-step. The checklist may include identifying the objectives and the competitors. The outline, table of contents, and headings are to be considered well. To be effective, we should make our brochure for use in the long run, too.
