a. I had seen Tshering a few minutes ago. If you had come round earlier. you could have seen him too.
b. I wish I were a bird. If I were a bird, I could fly around the world.

d. George was happy that he came to Nepal. If he hadn't, he would not have seen Mt. Everest.

Writing II: Sample of Recipe Writing
Kwati
is a popular Newari food item. Here are the steps for preparing it. Arrange
them in the correct order and write the recipe for making it. (Answer only)
Ingredients
sprouted mixed beans, ghee, onion, cumin seeds, carom seeds, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, bay leaves, chili powder, turmeric powder, salt
a. First,
melt ghee in a pressure cooker.
b. Next,
add onion, then bay leaves, and ginger garlic paste.
c. Then,
add sprouted mix beans (Kwati) and then red chili powder.
d. Again,
fry for 5-6 minutes.
e. Next,
add tomatoes, turmeric powder, and coriander powder.
f. Now,
fry until the tomato is tender.
g. Then,
add hot water salt and garam masala.
h. Next,
cook for about 4-5 whistles.
i. Finally,
put cumin seeds and carom seeds in a pan and fry them.
j. Kwati
is ready to be served.
