The phrase ‘school of thought’ refers to a set of ideas that a group of people share about a matter. There are different opinions of different people about the social area. Some people find the benefits of using social media, whereas others find problems with it. I find most of my friends using social media in their studies and for their personal affairs. Most of my friends use it wrongly because less of them use social media in their study. I find them chatting with others endlessly.
Some of the benefits of using social media are such as communicating with people, finding online information for study, getting distance learning opportunities, group work opportunities, and virtual meetings. Similarly, the drawbacks of using social media by students can be wasting of study time, distraction in study, loss of learning ability, reduction of language use in communication, building of vulgar habits, cybercrime, and social distancing.
Regarding my position on using social media as a student, I accept that everything has pros and cons. But, in my view, social media is a good platform for our study because we can find every solution to our problems if we can find the proper keywords and use them properly. If we miss our class, we can easily recover it by using social media. Many audio and video materials are available on Google, YouTube, and other sites. Therefore, proper use of social media certainly fosters the way of learning.

Cyberbullying is one of the major problems of today's youth. It is also known as online bullying. This type of crime has been facilitated by devices such as cell phones, computers, and tablets. Cyberbullying is a widespread phenomenon through which children, teens, or even adults are intentionally targeted, humiliated, tortured or threatened. Harmful bullying activities may include rumours, threats, posting sexual comments, sharing the victim's personal information, or hate speech. Social networking sites, SMS, email and online gaming are often found to be used for bullying.
Cyberbullying can cause many complications for victims. When bullying goes online, victims feel unsafe even inside their homes. It is really hard to avoid. Since its effect can last for a long time, it hurts the person mentally, emotionally, and physically. The victim may experience low self-esteem, even suicidal tendencies, and a variety of negative emotional reactions.
If we feel somebody is bullying us, the first step is to seek help from our parents, a close family member, or a trusted adult. If we are in danger, we should contact the police. Laws against cyberbullying are relatively new and still don't exist everywhere. This is the reason why many countries rely on other relevant laws to punish cyberbullies. To prevent bullying, it needs to be identified and reported. We are required to be thoughtful about what we share or say that can hurt others.
