A man who wanted to buy an ass went to market. Coming across a likely-looking beast, he arranged with the owner that he should be allowed to take him home on a trial to see what the beast was like. When the man reached home, he put the beast into his stable along with the other asses. The newcomer looked around, and immediately went and chose a place next to the laziest and greediest beast in the stable. When the master saw this, he put a halter on him at once led him off, and handed him over to his owner. The latter was surprised to see him back so soon. 'I could see what sort of beast; he is from the companion he chose for himself.'

Write a dialogue between you and your friend about the upcoming sports Day/ Week in your school, including the following points in your dialogue.

Time and venue of the sports day/ week (10 Magh (Opening ceremony) – 16 Magh (closing ceremony), School Premises)

Types of events (athletics such as running, long and high jump, singing & dancing, football, volleyball, kabaddi, marathon,

Participants (All students, house-wise competition but level-wise (class 1-5, 6-8, 9 & 10)

Prize distribution (chief Guest: mayor of the municipality, )

You:    Hey! Are you excited about the upcoming Sports Week at school?

Friend: Absolutely! I heard it’s going to be from 10th Magh to 16th Magh. Do you know where it’s happening?

You: Yeah, it’s all happening on the school premises. The opening ceremony is on the 10th Magh, and the closing ceremony will be on the 16th Magh.

Friend: That’s awesome! What events are they organizing this year?

You: There’s a lot to look forward to—athletics like running, long jump, and high jump. They’ve also got singing and dancing competitions, plus football, volleyball, kabaddi, and even a marathon!

Friend: Sounds like it’s going to be competitive. Are all the students participating?

You: Yes! It’s a house-wise competition, but it’s divided by levels: classes 1-5, 6-8, and 9 & 10. Everyone will have a chance to show their skills.

Friend: I’m looking forward to the prize distribution. Who’s going to be the chief guest?

You: The mayor of our municipality is coming as the chief guest for the prize distribution. It’s going to be an exciting week!
