The captain of the plane said to us in a very calm voice, 'Ladies and gentleman, we're having a problem with one of the engine. There is no need to panic but keep your seatbelt fastened. We are heading back to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.' I felt a pain in my   chest and people started to cry. After sometime, we landed successfully back at the airport. Writing I: Memorable Events

You must have had several memorable events in your life. Write two or three paragraphs about one of them. Include the answers to these questions in your paragraphs.

a.      What was the event about?

b.     When did it happen?

c.      What lesson did you learn from it?

One of the most memorable events in my life was a fishing trip during my primary school days. Our school was very far from home, and we had to walk for more than an hour to get there. One day, most of our seniors decided to skip class and go fishing at a nearby pond. They invited me and a few other friends to join them. We eagerly agreed, setting aside our books and uniforms for the thrill of the adventure. The whole day was spent fishing, making a fire to cook the fish we caught, and eating with friends. It was an exciting and fun-filled experience, and we enjoyed every moment.

However, the excitement of that day came with consequences. We ended up missing classes for three days, as the allure of fishing was too strong to resist. When we finally returned to school, we found ourselves far behind in our studies. The teachers were disappointed, and we struggled to catch up with the lessons we had missed. This experience taught me a valuable lesson about the importance of prioritizing my education. While it was tempting to indulge in fun activities, I realized that neglecting my studies would lead to failure and regret.

From that day on, I understood the need to balance fun and responsibilities. I learned that while it is essential to enjoy life and create memorable experiences, it should not come at the expense of important duties, such as studying. This lesson has stayed with me throughout my life, guiding me to make better choices and maintain a sense of responsibility in all aspects of life.
