B. Write a story that ends in 'She finally realised her mistake'.
The Lost Book
Gita loved reading, so when her friend Sita got a new storybook, she begged to borrow it. Sita agreed but said, “Take care of it.” Gita took the book to school but left it on the bus. Panicked, she lied to Sita, saying she never took it. Sita searched her bag, her house, and even asked classmates, but the book was gone.
Watching Sita worry, Gita’s guilt grew. One evening, she saw Sita crying under a tree. Gita’s heart ached. She walked up and confessed, “Sita, I lost your book. I was scared, so I lied.” Sita wiped her tears and hugged Gita. “Thank you for telling me. Books can be replaced, but trust cannot.”
Gita hugged her back, tears in her eyes. She finally realised her mistake.
Moral: Admitting mistakes helps keep friendships strong.
