A Visit to Smart Village

Every country has more natural assets to be explored being an adventurous visitor. Recently, I visited a smart village of our country that has been in the first list of local visitors as well as foreign tourists because of its preserved features.

During the winter vacation, with my two friends, I visited the Ghale Gaun that is also known as a smart village in Nepal. We reached Ghale Gaun at about 3:30 pm. It was nearly two hours' journey from Beshisahar. After getting down from the Sumo, we went to the view tower. We observed the scenic beauty of that village. It is fully surrounded by the hills. The beautiful houses of the village are seen very attractive. All the houses are made up of red tin so they have uniformity in colour. We visited many places of the village  by the late evening such as museum, tea garden, play grounds, park and view tower.

We saw typical instruments in the museum used by the Gurung people as Ghale Gaun is a native place for Gurung people. There is a small football ground and a basketball court. The village has very less area but very famous due to its historical conserved cultures and houses.  After visiting the museum, we asked a woman about lodge and food but she informed us about the homestay. Therefore, we went to the office and registered our name. We were asked to wait for some time. After sometime, a middle aged man came and we went with him for home stay. We were served organic food at night with local alcohol.

Gurung people have very unique way of life which is still found in that village. Besides some cases, we could not see any modernity in their way of life. Their kitchen is still conventional. We found home stay comfortable. We got the amount for lodge and food reasonable because the place is still difficult to reach.  We changed the vehicle twice from Dumre. Gurung people are found very honest. They have a system of showing cultural dances to the guests and farewell while departing from there.

B.    Write an essay in about 500 words on 'Importance of Tourism in Nepal'.

Importance of Tourism

The travel industry is a variety of exercises, services, and ventures that convey a travel experience, including transportation, facilities, eating and drinking establishments, retail shops, amusement organizations, action offices, and other hospitality services provided to individuals or groups traveling away from home. It is the biggest industry with yearly incomes of more than $3 trillion in the world. The amount of the wonders and connections emerging from the collaboration of vacationers, business providers, governments, and host networks during the time spent attracting and facilitating these tourists and other guests.

Tourism is vital for the success of many economies around the world. There are several benefits of tourism on host destinations.  Tourism boosts the revenue of the economy, creates thousands of jobs, develops the infrastructure of a country, and plants a sense of cultural exchange between foreigners and citizens. The number of jobs created by tourism in the country is significant. These jobs are not only a part of the tourism sector but may also include the agricultural sector, communication sector, health sector, and the educational sector. Many tourists travel to experience the hosting destination’s culture, different traditions, and gastronomy. This is very profitable to local restaurants, shopping centres, and stores.

Nepal is a small, however excellent country. The travel industry can be a vital industry for our country. It has the most elevated mountain, Mt. Everest, the consistently streaming Himalayan waterways, glacial masses, huge lakes, green valleys, and dazzling waterfalls, the public parks in the Terai and Himalayan reach are altogether the attractions for travellers. Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, can be the next religious place to be visited. These are all regular assets that will be vital for our vacationer industry. The travellers of various types will come to Nepal. Some will come to see the heritages, some to examine its chronicles and sacred spots.

It's anything but a great deal of cash to set up different enterprises. Yet, our regular magnificence can be our capital for the travel industry. We can get numerous immediate and indirect benefits from the travel industry. Above all else, we can begin inns. We can sell our merchandise. Indeed, even ranchers can get an opportunity to sell their rural items. In any case, a few travellers may have a criminal nature and perpetrate wrongdoing at any time. They may influence our conventional culture. For all these, the security framework ought to be severe, and we ought to be very cautious.

It is significant because it set out numerous freedoms to our kin who live in metropolitan spots where there is nothing but Bad Street or no road. If the government can give great notice of our country, then because of the addition of vacationers, we can improve our economy.
