a.      Do you think there is life in art?

From semantic point of view, there is no life in any art but there is life if we see from pragmatic point of view. Because many artistic works of the renowned painters of the world such as Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent van Gogh, Michelangelo, Claude Monet are still found in the museum. They are alive in our memory. Such great works have not been created and done yet in the field of art and paintings. These works are highly admirable, appreciated and praised as we still take the name of the great artists and their work as well. Therefore, we can state that there is life in art.

b.      As a thing of art nothing could be more admirable than the painting itself. Explain.

This statement is right about the paintings. Because painting is a very admirable and appreciated form of art. The painters work continuously in order to reveal the realistic form in his painting. Painting also reveals the various aspects of human life. We also find the nature and other phenomena in painting works. For example, ‘Mona Lisa’ the work of Vinci is the supreme work yet done in the field of painting that is admirable from every aspects of art. In the story, the oval portrait is one of the painting that has stunned the narrator. The narrator feels completely puzzled after seeing the painting. 

c.      A more intense look at the painting reveals the illusion. Have you noticed any such painting?

Yes, I have noticed such painting in my life. The painting is more meaningful if it is judged by a passionate painter. But, there is illusion if it is judged by an ordinary person. In my case, I have been observing the ‘Thanka’ a silk painting with embroidery, usually showing a Buddhist god, famous scene, or a mandala, since long but I could not get the meaning of the painting. I had always a query in my mind why it costs very high for tourists. Coincidentally, I met a person who told me about the importance of that picture.
