B.    Choose and circle the correct prepositions from the brackets in the paragraph below.

Mr. Pandey arrived in Kathmandu on May 10 at eight o'clock in the evening. He decided to call on his uncle who lived in Bhaktapur. He got on a bus at the station and paid the fare to the conductor. The bus was very crowded, so Mr. Pandey had to stand up all the way.

When he reached Thimi, Mr. Pandey got off the bus and walked a short distance to the house where his uncle lived. He knocked at the door of his uncle's house. He waited for a few minutes but no one came to the door. He was disappointed to find no one at home. He saw a bench at the corner of the porch, and he sat down on it to wait for his uncle.

Writing II: Rules and Regulations Writing

Write a set of rules and regulations for the visitors in a park. Use the expressions given below.

A set of rules and regulations to be followed by the visitors in a park are mentioned below:

a.      Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas of the park.

b.     Pets are not allowed in designated picnic zones.

c.      Visitors are required to dispose of trash in designated bins to keep the park clean.

d.     Feeding wildlife is forbidden to protect their natural searching habits.

e.      Bicycles and scooters can only be ridden on designated paths and must yield to pedestrians.

f.       Loud music and noise are not allowed to maintain a peaceful environment for all visitors.

g.     Barbecue grills are permitted only in specified areas and must be monitored at all times.

h.     Visitors must stay on marked trails to protect plant life and ensure safety.

i.       Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times within the park.

j.       All visitors are expected to respect the natural environment and fellow park-goers.
